Was the Phlebotomy class fun? I thought about it taking a course, but you never see any guys going for Phlebotomy. Work at the hospital or the blood bank. My sister works at the blood bank, she loves the people. Pay is not the greatest. Hospital she works at (Phlebotomy) pays good money. That is why she has 2 jobs.

These are some awesome tips! I did the exact same thing and made all As in nursing school. When it came to taking the NCLEX....it was a breeze because of all the years of prep and extra studying that I did. And it also made it easy to get into grad schools. I LOVE BEING AN R.N.! Im currently in the RN program and I agree with everything you have said. Note cards do nothing for me and neither do study groups. And with the talking to yourself part I definately do that. One time i was taking an exam and I was talking through my mind remembering how i associated that part of the exam while studying and my teacher thought I was crazy!

I'm in level 1 right now and I'd some classmates who made false accusations about my skills to my insturctor..that gave me and academic warning! In my research most schools require a 3.0 and above but because of the limited seats only the high 3's and 4.0s might get in. I think private schools don't look at your GPA to be honest with you (at least in CA), but I could be wrong. And I apologize but I don't understand your last question if it were right out of high school? Do nursing schools look at whether you were in regular classes or pre-ap classes? or just simply the grades....? help please!

First, I LOVE your videos! I have been an RN for 1year and 4 months-- not that I'm counting :P Anyway, I just want to let you know your videos are inspiring to me also and I already survived nursing school! It sounds cliche but nursing really is a profession that you continue to learn... I find myself 'studying' on some of my days off even!!! Keep up the good work in school and hope to see how your second semester goes!
