Spiritual music communicates directly to the soul and affects us on a subtle and often unconscious level. This is music that has somewhat of the same sound, though it is usually described as music that reflects a spiritual belief.
This type of music can be a valuable aid to meditation and is a particular kind of music that helps in the establishment of divine bonds. It assists in the meditation, healing and relaxation of the soul.
Spiritual music offers pulses with global rhythm, sweet melodies and heartfelt devotion that invokes the heart and lifts the spirit. It is often composed by people who have already reached higher levels of spiritual upliftment who understand that music can be something that heals and soothes the heart and mind.
It is music that facilitates an easy way to inspire people to meditate; as music and religion are for the seekers, for the music-lovers, for the truth-servers because it can express and connect with the deepest parts of us and has been part of spirituality since the beginning of human culture.

However, style does not matter because mind is an aggregate of all life experiences be it pain, pleasure, hurt, anger, joy or anxiety. Whatever, the feeling, spiritual music reaches out to soothe all emotions.
American Negro spirituals are religious folk songs of American origin, particularly associated with African-American Protestants of the southern United States. African tradition also included polyphonic and choral singing. Soulful music is a form of aspiration, a form of meditation.
Spirituals are primarily expressions of religious faith, originated by African slaves in the United States. They uplift in times of crisis, heal, comfort, inspire and instill hopes and dreams, thereby transforming individuals, communities, and whole societies.
Spirituals Medleys are songs that could be heard out in the cotton fields of the Old South and were created over a 200-year period, but not until after the Civil War were most Americans aware of their existence.
Spirituals can be divided into three categories: “Deep River,” “Balm in Gilead,” and “Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child” and are suffused with feelings of self pity and a longing for change.
Negro spirituals were considered mainly as traditional songs and were the first uniquely American music to come out of this country. Negro spirituals are American’s first great musical contribution to the world. All of these variations are how music elevates spirituality.

First off we have already published that stress is inescapable and you can’t remove it from your life.
How?
First try and lead a more socialable life. Instead of sitting at home and watching television for about five -6 hours per day, go out with buddies and have a great time. The more you doss around with people, the more socialable person you become and the happier you may be.
Next try to do more sport. Force yourself to other activities and you will not regret that. I know many people who claimed the above and when attempted socializing more and do more exercises, they life has changed also.
When you come back from work, or exercises, you can finally sit in your chair or lay on your bed and play the relaxation music. But not all of the relaxation music is good for that purpose. Try the relaxation music that calls alpha music. That sort of music will put you into an alpha state, the state when you are really relaxed and can rest correctly. The next day you’ll be refreshed and ready to take up new challenges. The more your brain is in alpha state, the better concepts and creative work you’ll have. The relaxation music will help you ease the strain if you had a fight with somebody close to you. Infrequently the relaxation music played in the background can even stop fights at home as you all ease your nerves thanks to that special kind of relaxation music.

That is just one stream of income. Artist and musicians, please listen to this very carefully… You can make money from doing a lot of things, you have to remember it’s takes a lot of work to break a hit. This work includes, performing in venues in a region or on national level, publicity, in store promotions, promotions, etc. This all requires some time and money. To break a record takes a lot of time and effort. Even if your trying to get the attention of a major record label, it requires work. Those major recording artist earn that money. They work day in day out, traveling all over never having time for them self and more.
The many ways musicians generate income can come from Television commercial jingles, song writing, getting your music in a movie sound track or video game, etc. With the many movie production companies and videos games coming out there should be no excuse. So start your mission now.

Your objective as an anxiety sufferer is to lower your overall anxiety levels as much as possible. How you breath is important because your body needs the correct oxygen / carbon dioxide balance to function at it’s best. Anxiety sufferers tend to breath rapidly using their upper chest. This causes overbreathing, which then leads to carbon dioxide depletion. In other words you end up with too much oxygen stored-up which then causes you to feel agitated, anxious and breathless. So you need to redress the oxygen / carbon dioxide balance.
Diaphragmatic breathing by using your stomach muscles to breathe instead of just your upper chest will correct your breathing and provide the right oxygen / carbon dioxide balance that you need. Here is how to use this particular anxiety relaxation technique…
1 - Lie back flat (or sit up perfectly straight) with one hand on your upper chest and the other on your abdomen.
2 - Breathe out naturally and slowly, don’t force it.
3 - Then let your body start to inhale naturally. Don’t try to help things along, let the body do it itself.
4 - At the natural end of the inhalation, breathe out slowly, again don’t force it.
5 - Repeat the cycle, each time allowing your breathing to become shallower and slower.
6 - Keep working at it. Your objective is to get your lower hand to rise first when you breathe in, i.e. diaphragmatic breathing.
Repeat this exercise daily until you have mastered it. It may take some time, but it’ll be worth it. Remember, you’re trying to ‘unlearn’ years of poor breathing technique, i.e. upper chest breathing. Over time you’ll begin to feel the benefits. And this anxiety relaxation technique can be particularly powerful when combined with the ‘ONE MOVE’ technique outlined below, which is designed to eliminate your constant ‘fear’ of anxiety and anxiety attacks.

Could this be a simple and easy treatment for anxiety attacks? Could practicing some easy relaxation techniques assist in keeping anxiety under control? Very definitely yes! The key is to find the relaxation exercises that you find most effective and then practice them regularly. The more you practice, the better and more proficient you will become. Below is a collection of ideas that you can adapt to suit.
Firstly:
Loosen your clothing and make yourself comfortable. If you are sitting, find a chair with good back support. Make time, when no interruption is expected. Find a quiet environment, with little or no outside noise.
Some simple relaxation techniques:
Tighten the muscles in your toes. Hold to the count of 10. Relax slowly and enjoy the sensation of release from tension. Tension is most commonly experienced in the back of the neck and shoulders. One easy way to get rid of this tension is to tighten the neck and shoulders, hold for 5-10 seconds then release. Close your eyes and rest them, inhale deeply, slowly, for the count of 3 through your nose, exhale through your mouth even slower, for the count of 5. Repeat, a few times. When breathing in, let your stomach expand as much as possible. As your body starts feeling more and more comfortable and relaxed, slowly clench your right fist. Clench it tighter and tighter and study the tension. Keep it clenched and feel the tension in your fist, hand, and forearm. Now let your hand relax and go limp, allowing your fingers to become loose. Repeat, studying the sensations.
An effective an easy relaxation technique is to begin breathing slowly and calmly, thinking of your slow breathing as calming your entire body as a whole. Release your breath very slowly. Mentally scan your body from head to toe. Are there any areas of tension? If so, take a few deep breaths, hold, then release slowly, saying “relax” to these parts. Think of the muscle as being soft and limp. Tell yourself “I am relaxed” as you carry out breathing exercises. You can also think about positive words like “peace”, “serenity” or perhaps picture a child sleeping if that gives you warm calm feelings. Visualize your favorite soothing image (e.g. lying on a warm beach).
Activities For The Treatment Of Anxiety.
-Take a nice, long bath. Perhaps you can use bath oil.
-Take a walk outside.
Listen to relaxing music.
Music is widely known to contribute to relaxation and to be calming. The reason for is twofold. Music positively affects your mood. It also provides a distraction from anxiety and negative thoughts. Select a gentle piece and play it at a low volume. A whole genre of relaxation albums are designed for this purpose. Place yourself in a comfortable position, close your eyes, focus on your breathing, and listen. And of course music can also be combined with other types of relaxation.
Learn to laugh.

Following laughter blood pressure drops and heart rate, respiratory rate, and muscle activity decrease. As a result, relaxation is increased and muscle tension is reduced.
Meditate.
Meditation is a easy relaxation technique intended to alter your state of consciousness. It is a large study all on it’s own and has been used by many generations to exercise spiritual beliefs and, of particular interest to us, to achieve a deep state of relaxation. It is the act of consciously directing your attention to alter your state of consciousness and to achieve calmness.
In looking for a simple treatment for anxiety attacks take care not to overlook the obvious. The best relaxation techniques for you are likely to be the ones you have forgotten about. Perhaps the things or activities that you once enjoyed and found most relaxing have been left behind in a busy or stressful routine. Take some time to rediscover the simple pleasures.
These ideas are not in themselves a cure. They will however assist in the treatment for anxiety attacks by helping a sufferer to gain a measure of control by using relaxation techniques

In reality melody, harmony, and rhythm probably impacts the human brain in ways that are far more profound than we realize. We all know that an up tempo melody from our favorite performer stirs and energizes us just as a slower melody can help us relax or even prompt sad emotions from the depths of our soul, but did you know that evidence has been found linking the merging of melody, harmony, and rhythm with pain management?

Researchers suggest that the magic melody that you are looking for in your quest for melodic pain relief isn’t one particular song that fits all. Instead personal taste is an important factor: but don’t run out and put on your favorite hard rock selection, it probably won’t do the trick. Instead, you want to look for a gentle, soothing melody that helps you relax. This might mean an old Natalie Cole melody that distracts you and draws you in to a more comfortable moment, but whether your taste if for Natalie Cole, Handel, or something more modern, the key is to find a melody that has a slow steady beat (ideally at or under sixty beats per minute, which is just below the resting rate of the human heart) that will help you relax and let the pain medication do its work more effectively.
Once you have found the right melody, sit back and focus on the melody for at least fifteen minutes. If you can do this, it can have the effect of lowering your heart rate and breathing rate thereby releasing the tension that comes with (or in some cases even causes) the pain. If you find it difficult to focus on giving the melody your undivided attention, try prefacing your selections with an additional melody that picks you up emotionally and sucks you into the moment before going into your quieting music which should relax you; after all, relaxing you is the primary function of many analgesics anyway so why not do it with a melody that’s already in your collection? Or better yet, what better excuse to go out and add a new CD to your collection?
And hey—even if it doesn’t help your aching head, its a heck of a lot cheaper than other means and pleasant to boot!

For those who live in the suburbs but work in the city centers or the hubs of all the traffic, we spend alot of time stuck in traffic jams. 2 hours in a car to get to work? 2 hours in a car to get back from work. That’s a long time to spend in a car.
Some people take it in their stride, telling themselves that it’s the nature of city life, that this it’s not happening only to me, but also to the guy in the car next to me and the lady in the car in front of me. So why get so worked up?
But others can’t. The anger slowly starts to build up, to bubble over. The stress levels rise, the ease of losing their temper becomes so low that even being overtaken by an old lady in a beat up car is too much.
And they lose it. But there are plenty of ways to keep your anger in check. Below I’ve listed a few that could be easily done in the car.
Listen To Some Mood Lifting Music
Let’s face it, there’s not much you can do in the car. You can’t read a book (unless you want to have an accident). You can’t really talk on the phone for the whole traffic jam either (unless you want a massive phone bill and you still might have an accident) so what else is there to do?
Well listening to music might be a good option. You can listen to the radio, just switch to your favorite station and you’re good to go for the next 2 hours. But the problem with radio is there are a lot of adverts that play on the radio stations (it’s how they make their money after all) and sometimes there’s a lot of talking between songs (they hire DJs to keep people entertained, not just to press ‘next’ on the CD player).
This may or may not keep you in a positive, relaxed mood.
So my suggestion would be to burn yourself a CD or load up your car with a huge list of MP3s. And not just any old MP3s but a list of songs that make you feel happy, relaxed, uplifted, or all of the above.
Each person has their own tastes in uplifting music so I can’t tell you what to put on your song list. You may feel happy when listening to the Spice Girls, Metallica or even Michael Jackson. Anything will do.
My personal choice? I feel relaxed when listening to ‘Michael Buble – Kissing a fool’.
No Music? Then Make Some
Know the lyrics to a song that you really love to hear? Does it make you feel happy? Uplifted? But you forgot to bring that CD?
Then just let loose and sing!
Do you really care about the stranger in the car next to yours giving you a funny look as you sing along to Mariah Carey? Who cares? He/she will be gone in the next few minutes and you probably won’t ever see them again.
Take my advice, doing something to relieve your stress or curb your anger is much more valuable to your mental health than caring about what you look like singing in the car.
So whether you are listening to music, or even making your own music, choose positive, uplifting songs. They’ll keep your stress levels low, your anger in check and that jam will pass by in no time at all.
Heck, you may even look forward to driving to work in the morning! Give it a try and see.
